Step-by-Step Instructions
Step One – Heat and Stir
In a small saucepan combine coconut cream, Cacao Bliss, and maple syrup. Place it over medium heat and bring it to a simmer, stirring frequently.
Once the chocolate pudding base comes to a simmer, remove it from heat. You should have a smooth, thick, chocolatey base. Stir in vanilla extract and salt. Taste and adjust seasonings.
Step Two – Divide and Refrigerate
Divide it into three small pudding cups. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, until the pudding has set. When it has set, it will have a slight wobble.
Serve immediately or store for up to 2 days.
Serving and Storing
Serving – Allow the healthy chocolate pudding at least 2 hours to set up in the refrigerator. I find it is best to allow it to rest overnight. Serve chilled with your choice of toppings. Whip some extra coconut cream, add fresh berries or cacao nibs. Yum!

Unfortunately, no. Canned coconut milk simply doesn’t have enough fat in it to get the pudding to set up. If you use coconut milk, you’ll end up with a very delicious pot of healthy hot chocolate.
At 15 net carbs per serving, this healthy chocolate pudding might be a little over what someone on the keto diet would want to consume. That said, you can easily swap out the maple syrup for a keto friendly sweetener to cut between 9-13 grams of carbs per serving size.
